Our delivery captains; Jeremy Hopkins, Bill England, Gary Hutson, and Gunnar Christensen, are highly experienced full-time captains and boating instructors. Captain Bill and Captain Gary hold USCG 50-ton Near Coastal licenses and Captain Jeremy holds a USCG 100-ton Near Coastal license. All are American Sailing Association certified Coastal Cruising Instructors. We adhere to the highest possible standards for instruction and take great professional pride in ensuring an on-time, on-budget delivery.

Our extensive delivery experience includes monohull sailboats, sailing and power catamarans, tugs, trawlers and motor-yachts.
We work near and far! We are very familiar with the waters of the Chesapeake and Delaware Bays, the New Jersey coast, Raritan Bay and the East & Hudson Rivers, Long Island and Block Island Sounds, Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts & the Gulf of Maine, Lake Ontario and the Oswego & Erie Canal systems, the entire Intra-Coastal Waterway from Norfolk to Miami, the Maryland, Virginia, North and South Carolina, Georgia & Florida coasts and the Gulf of Mexico.
We also have many thousands of miles of open ocean sailing experience including deliveries to and from Bermuda, the Bahamas, Cuba, Puerto Rico, the British & US Virgin Islands, St. Martin, Antigua, St. Lucia & Grenada in the Caribbean Basin, the Yucatan Peninsula & the Pacific coast of Mexico, the South Atlantic islands of St. Helena and Ascension, Brazil, Suriname, and trans-Atlantic delivery passages from Mallorca, in the western Mediterranean and from Cape Town, South Africa, to Annapolis, MD. January 2012
This past year, 2011, was yet another busy year for us. We completed a total of 20 sail- and motor-yacht deliveries; 4 in the Chesapeake Bay, 14 on the U.S. East Coast between Maine and North Carolina, one from Annapolis to Puerto Rico and one from the Canary Islands to St Lucia. Passage distances were 560 nm in Long Island Sound, 1995 nm along the US east coast, 2105 nm in the Chesapeake Bay, Delaware Bay & the Intra Coastal Waterway and 3920 nm in the North Atlantic Ocean, for a total of 8,578 nautical miles. It is tremendously gratifying to have been so busy and we greatly appreciate the confidence placed in us, as well as the support of so many private boat-owners, yacht dealers and brokers.
We were also busy again last season with instruction customers and we thoroughly enjoyed working with the new owners of a Morris 28, a Nordic Tug 32, a Caliber 33, a Beneteau 33, a Shannon 38, a Hanse 40, a Beneteau 42, a Whitby 42, a Brewer 44, a Jeanneau 45 and a Tartan 46. On the power side we worked with the new owners of a Grand Banks 42 Classic trawler and the charterers of two Nordic Tug 42s.
We have been delighted with the very encouraging feedback from these owners and charterers regarding their new-found skills and competence. We are looking forward to meeting and working with many new customers, as well as our current customers who are now sailing better, more confidently, getting more enjoyment from their boating - and simply having more fun. And if it isn’t fun and enjoyable, then why do it!?
